In this series, we will examine the third cycle of the gospel according to Mark (Mark 6:7-8:21), which will conclude the first half of the book. This section focuses on the movement of the gospel.
In this seventh and final message, we witness Jesus once again feeding a multitude of people in a way that is strikingly similar to Mark 6:32-44. We compare the two stories and consider why Mark includes them book, while also looking at how the Pharisees and the disciples respond. The section ends with the question, "Do you still not understand?" inviting us to continue in the story to seek deeper truth.
