The core values of CrossRoads are the fundamental characteristics that we strive to uphold as we seek to follow Jesus and walk in his way. Since a church is a body, and we seek to embody the presence of Christ today, it is vital that we “clothe” ourselves in the character and attributes of Jesus. These core values are biblically expressed in Colossians 3:12-14:
“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”
