In this series, we will walk through the second part of the gospel according to Mark (Mark 3:13-6:6), focussing on what it means to be a follower of Jesus. In this second message, we see that following Jesus means that we need to be soil that cultivates growth. We are a mixture of soils: the trampled path, the rocky terrain, the thorny brush, and the fertile soil. For us to grow and experience God's best, we need to cultivate our soil so we can learn and flourish.
