In this series, we will examine the third cycle of the gospel according to Mark (Mark 6:7-8:21), which will conclude the first half of the book. This section focuses on the movement of the gospel.
In this third message, we find Jesus walking on the water to care for the disciples, followed by others walking to Jesus to find the care that they need. This comes both through Peter walking on the water to Jesus (in Matthew) and in the people coming to Jesus with their various illnesses and struggles. We too can take courage to know that Jesus is with us!
