This curriculum invites Christians to consider the intersections of faith, power, and politics in U.S. society. Particularly during a time when Christian nationalism is seen in many forms, it can be difficult to know how to show up as a Christian.
What distinguishes the role of faith in public life from Christian nationalism?
We believe that, in contrast to Christian nationalism, cultivating religious liberty offers a foundation to cultivate a just society that ensures dignity, pluralism, and democracy. Through reflection, storytelling, case studies, and collective learning, participants are invited to offer the gifts of their faith in solidarity and mutuality for a just society.
The study is based on a PDF document that is available upon request by email. Even though the materials are published by a Baptist organization, the content is not exclusively for Baptists as many people from various denominations and world faiths join in the ongoing work of advocating for religious liberty. So, come join us in this study and in the work of religious freedom.
