In this series, we will examine the middle section of the gospel according to Mark (Mark 8:22-10:52), which focuses on the developing understanding of the followers of Jesus as his influence expands throughout the region.
In this first message, we see three important questions raised by Jesus to his followers: to the blind man, he asks if he can see anything, to the disciples, he asks who they think he is, and to the crowd, he asks what good is it to gain the world. These questions show the continuing process of growth and development as we follow the way of Jesus.
