In this series, we will walk through the second part of the gospel according to Mark (Mark 3:13-6:6), focussing on what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
In this third message, we see that following Jesus will lead to a growing understanding. Jesus speaks of light as illumination to our growth. Then, he talks about how a seed takes time to grow, as do we. Lastly, he talks about the mustard seed, which starts off small and grows large enough for the birds to nest there. Growth takes time and intentionality.
