In this series, we will walk through the first part of the gospel according to Mark (Mark 1:16-3:12), focussing on the central question: Who is Jesus?
In this first message, we see Jesus as the great liberator. We are compelled to follow Jesus as he invites Andrew, Simon, James and John to join him, leaving behind their vocations and families. Then, we are awakened to the contrasting kingdom of God and the religious system as Jesus calls out an "impure" spirit, cleansing a man of his faulty understanding and empowering him with the Spirit of God. How will we experience liberation?
