Join us as we gather to discuss, clarify, and anticipate hosting a warming center this winter. In this community conversation we will share a strategic plan for CrossRoads to host a warming center in compliance with the City of Rolla regulations during the winter months.
We will offer some introductary training, discuss what we will collect from the community, talk about ways that you can help, and troubleshoot challenges that might arise. We will help prepare you to serve at the warming center, which will be located at 708 N. Main St. in Rolla in the auditorium of CrossRoads.
This conversation is completely free and open to the public. We welcome other organizations to attend that might consider hosting an additional warming center this year or in the future. We encourage other supporting organizations to attend who help build networking and support for our most vulnerable population. We invite anyone to come who is curious or who might have interest in helping, regardless of their faith or church involvement.
