Mark 9:14-29
Jesus Messiah (pt. 3: Belief and Doubt)

In this series, we will examine the middle section of the gospel according to Mark (Mark 8:22-10:52), which focuses on the developing understanding of the followers of Jesus as his influence expands throughout the region.

In this third message, we travel with Jesus, Peter, James and John back down the mountain. Jesus' other disciples are at the base of the mountain arguing with the religious leaders and unable to help a boy who is having seizures. Jesus speaks to the crowd, the father, the boy, and the disciples through four scenes that point us to evaluate the merits of focusing on needs people have rather than arguing with others.
