In this series, we will examine how natural outcomes derive from the choices we make. We will consider how we go through "tests," end up in "exile" at times, and seek to build up our own "cities." We will also see how the "day of the LORD" is two-sided, has eternal implications and leads us back to oneness with God and fullness of life.
In this third message, we talk about the "city," which is a metaphor of the corruption of seperation, empire and elitism. We will look at the formation of the city of Babylonia in Genesis 11, the city of Jerusalem (Zion), and the hope for the coming city of God.
