In this series, we will examine how natural outcomes derive from the choices we make. We will consider how we go through "tests," end up in "exile" at times, and seek to build up our own "cities." We will also see how the "day of the LORD" is two-sided, has eternal implications and leads us back to oneness with God and fullness of life.
In this second message, we look at how "exile" often accompanies choosing a path of self-destruction. We will see how this happens for Israel and Judah, but God extends hope and restoration. Then, we will turn to the New Testament to see how Paul envisions the return from "exile" for the Gentiles and how we can join in building a community of faith founded on the unity of Christ.
