In this series, we analyze the Hebrew Shama found in Deuteronomy 6:4-5. This passage is central to Judaism, and therefore is the emphasis of Jesus' teaching. As we consider the parts of this passage, we are drawn to love God with all of our being.
In this first message, we look at the concept of listening. We acknowledge how we are oftentimes distracted when we hear someone, but to truly understand and follow through with what they are telling us, we need to come face to face and focus on what they are saying. God listens to us; we need to listen to God.
