Dr. Patrick Wilson married his wife, Michelle, in 1998, and they have one son, Joel, who was born in 2010.  He holds a B.A. from Baylor University in Speech Communication, a M.A. and a Th.M. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a D.Min. from Logsdon Seminary.  He regularly writes for GC2 (BaptistWay) Press, Baptist News Global, and the Phelps County Focus.  He has taught seminary courses in biblical studies, Old Testament, prophecy, Hebrew, pastoral ministry, and spiritual formation.  He is a field service representative for the Future Leadership Foundation and serves on the Commission for Theological Education for the Baptist World Alliance.  

He is an avid reader.  Some of his favorite authors include Brene Brown, Rachel Held Evans, Brian Zahnd, NT Wright, Walter Brueggemann, Rob Bell, Bob Goff, and Dan Kimball.  In his spare time, he enjoys the camping and hiking outdoors, playing board and video games, watching movies, and walking the trails in Rolla with his family and his two dogs, Lucy and Freddie.

His favorite verse from the Bible is: "Then Haggai, the Lord’s messenger, gave this message of the Lord to the people: 'I am with you,' declares the Lord" (Haggai 1:13).
