 on's FaceBook page at 8:00 p.m. for a time of Bible study and discussion. 
 We will be going through a series based on John Michael Comer's book\, Pra
 cticing the Way: Be with Jesus\, Become Like Him\, Do as He Did. Here is a
  brief overview of the book:\n"IWe are constantly being formed by the worl
 d around us. To be formed by Jesus will require us to become his apprentic
 e.\n\n"To live by what the first Christian disciples called a Rule of Life
 —a set of practices and relational rhythms that slow us down and open up
  space in our daily lives for God to do what only God can do—transforms
  the deepest parts of us to become like him.\n\n"This introduction to spir
 itual formation is full of John Mark Comer’s trademark mix of theologica
 l substance and cultural insight as well as practical wisdom on developing
  your own Rule of Life.\n\n"These ancient practices have much to offer us.
  By learning to rearrange our days\, we can follow the Way of Jesus. We ca
 n be with him. Become like him. And do as he did."\nReading the book is en
 couraged but not required to participate in the study. All are welcome to 
 attend. During the in-person sessions\, we will watch videos that go with 
 each lesson. These videos are available online for those who want to watch
  them and participate remotely in the FaceBook LIVE study. They will not b
 e shown in the abbreviated Bible study on FaceBook. If you cannot attend t
 he FaceBook LIVE study at 8:00 p.m.\, you can watch at a later time during
  the week and fully participate in real time.\nCome just as you are. We do
 n't have all the answers\, but we learn from each other as we reflect on G
 od\, faith\, and life. We hope to see you there!
